ONE  of Constructivism (Agnew, 1987) There is no fixed meaning. Constructivism posits that the human brain does not create a pixel-by-pixel recording of a scene like a digital camera, but rather constructs intermediate models for the purpose of abstracting and summarizing the plethora of information flowing down the optic nerve (too much information). Such models influence what we perceive.
