The first type would be about the numerous awards and achievements Simpson had received in his prime. The second type of articles that is available would read about all of his very public arrests. Simpson played in the NFL from 1969 to 1979. In those years O.J. claimed multiple titles and awards, including most valuable player (1973), first to rush more than 2,000 yards in a season (1973), unanimous All-Pro, won four NFL rushing titles (1972,73,75,76), named All-Pro (1972-76), named to six Pro Bowls, Pro Bowl player of the game (1973), and inducted into the Buffalo Bills hall of fame (1991).Simpson also became a successful actor, landing dozens of roles in television and film during and after his NFL career.
