A) Berger has a belief that globalization in recent times has helped religious play a more prominent role in people’s lives. Religions that were once confined in certain places in the world now have global memberships. This is evident with the plethora of religions that are currently in the United States that have roots in other parts of the world. Kanter discussed how religion is becoming more evident in the management and leadership of American companies. She cited things like companies donating to charity and trying to help out the environment. She did mention that companies with excess wealth doing things like this, which is sometime true, however I would say many companies lately have not been as open to these types of things due to the economy and others are simply hoarding money for the executives. B) Post-Civil War America did not feature favorable living conditions for the working class. They worked long hours for little pay and their lifestyles were not desirable. The
