AbstractIn this paper I am going to be talking about an action plan for working in the schoolsetting as a third party. When setting up an action plan for entering a school you have to makesure to gain a relationship with the staff and administration there. It can be a difficult task butvery rewarding for the outcome of the intervention plan. When working as a behavior analyst youhave the goal to develop more independent and socially appropriate behaviors for the childrenyou will be working with. A lot of the children that we work with will be in classrooms for amajority of their day most days of the week. We have to build those relationships with the staffand administration working with the students during the day. Just like it is important to buildrapport with the parents to share information it’s the same with instructors. The reason for anaction plan is to plan out and consider all of the steps that have to come together to make theprocess complete.Action (in order of theactions)People Involved in theactionSupport from the materialdiscussed in class Thatsupports the action.Research Th School beforevisitBehavior Therapist, Teachers,Principal, All schooladministrationHow the school operates andinterviewing administrationand staff.Visit the schoolBehavior Therapist.
