PRACTICE MIDTERM EXAM #1 Math 2B Lecture D, Winter 2010 Professor: Ronald J. Stern Instructions: (a) Do not begin this practice exam until you are ready to sit down for 50 consecutive minutes to work the problems, undisturbed by anything or anyone. Make this as close to an actual exam situation as possible. (b) As with the real exam, I recommend that you take this exam without any books, notes, calculators, computers, cell phones, etc. (c) Show all of your work. Write out your answers neatly and clearly indicate your final answer. The real exam will provide space to write your answers. (d) This ‘practice exam’ is not intended to be a perfect indication of what topics will or will not actually appear on the real midterm exam. For example, you may perhaps notice that some topics we’ve covered in the course are not stressed in this practice exam; but that does not mean they will will be equally ignored on the actual midterm. As usual, you are responsible for all that is done in the course.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
