Management 200 – Introductory Financial Accounting

Please be sure to check the seating chart when it is posted on Katalyst to make sure you
know your seat assignment before you arrive at Elliott.
Exam 1 will be
90 minutes
long and will consist of four workout problems similar in
format to the first three homework assignments and assigned problems. The exam will
cover the first five chapters of the text and related classroom material and it is your
responsibility to be familiar with all this material. To help guide your study you should be
aware of the accounting cycle and be able to:
- prepare journal entries for basic transactions
- prepare adjusting journal entries
- prepare closing entries
- prepare a T ledger account
- prepare a trial balance
- prepare a classified balance sheet, a multi-step income statement, and a statement of
retained earnings
