1 Nats 104 A discussion of your plant of choice 50 points Please read this assignment carefully and contact me with questions. You need to select an actual plant in the wild to observe for this exercise. Do not simply write about a “generic” plant. Choose a plant that you find interesting (any member of the Kingdom Plantae (not an alga or fungi!). Find a plant that you will physically observe and that you will visit outdoors in a natural, native environment . You will be describing this particular plant for questions 1, 3, and 5. Observe your particular plant’s environment, plants that are growing near it, how rocky or sandy the surrounding soil is, etc. Do not choose a potted plant or a plant that is part of landscaping or that is cultivated; these are not examples of plants in a native environment. Also, do not choose a plant that has been artificially imported into an area or one that is invasive. Use your textbook and external sources of information (web, library, etc.) to help you answer the following questions about your plant.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
