Observation 1: The Infant Introduction : The observation is taken at the Mt. SAC Child Development Center. The Child’s teacher is Carman. The date of the Observation is Jan 11, 2010, and there are few children in the center. Her name is Alexandra who is almost 12 month old. She was chosen for observing because she was more active than other children. She is special because she is high on adaptability. Observation: Biosocial Development: She is 27 inches high and weighs 20 pounds. Comparing in height and weight to developmental norms, she is little small and underweight. The average heights and weights around this age should be 32 inches and 22 pounds. Perception: She interests in animate thing. In the infant center, there has a fish aquarium; she can watch it for a few minute. In addition, if there have sound or object moves, she will turn her heard toward immediately. Motor Development: 1.
