Observation 2: The Toddler Introduction : The observation is taken at the Mt. SAC Child Development Center. The child’s teacher is Katty. The date of the Observation is 01/11/10 Monday, and there are few children in the center. His name is Jereminiah who is exactly 2 years old at that day. He was chosen for observing because he is special. That day is his birthday, and he is very happy and excited. Observation: Biosocial Development: There is no chart that record children height and weight in child development center. But, compare Jereminiah to other child who are the same age. Jereminiah is a much taller and stronger. Motor Development: 1. He can throw a ball by one hand, but the direction is not where he aims. He does not like to play the toys quietly. 2. Pincer grasp: thumb and forefinger together 3. He uses his hands to stand his body, and get one leg on he chair and then the second. 4. He can walk from one place to the other place in the room. Most of time, he likes not to stand up.
