Unformatted text preview: Observation 5 Introduction: The observation is taken at Preschool on the Hill, Rowland Heights. The child I have observed is Jessica and her teachers name is Nancy. She is 3 and 6 months years old. She was chosen for observing because she is a 3 to 4 year old child and an active child. By the way, she is my focus child. Social and Emotional Development: 1. 1. I got two dolls --giving info 2. Tell me why --- getting needs 3. What is your name-- Gaining info 4. Give me the toy commanding 5. I need more -- getting needs 2. How does your focus child express emotion? Include both verbal and nonverbal means of expression. Cite at least two examples. Jessica raises her both shoulders and his forehead muscle, and slowly turns her head from left to right. She saw other kid cry in front of her. The nonverbal action means that it is not my fault. She likes to compare with other kid. She thinks she is the best one. She always says see, my toy is bigger, look, mine is better. She explain that she is better than other people see, my toy is bigger, look, mine is better....
