Date: 3/6/2003 Course: Homework 2 Part 1: a. (50%) Using the equivalence partitioning method, derive a set of Black Box testing cases based on the specification of a Sorting Function. Please make sure to all input data and expected output data. Specification of Sorting Function: The Sorting Function reads a list of integer data from a data file, named as Unsorted-DataFile.DAT, and generates a sorted list and stored a new data file known as Sorted-DataFile.DAT. This function must handle all kinds of input data problems: If there is any incorrect input data and format, then the function should generate a message “Incorrect Input Data or Incorrect Data Format” as its corresponding output. If the input file does not exist, then the output will be “The file does not exist”. If the program has problems to read the input data from the given input file, then the output should be: “Can Not Read the Input File”. Input Data File (Unsorted-DataFile.DAT):
