Unformatted text preview: 1 LAB #2 (Week 2): SOMATOTYPE & BODY COMPOSITION ANALYSIS PROCEDURES 1) Perform duplicate measurements and complete the Comprehensive Anthropometric Data Form on the attached pages (it is similar to Table 3-1, page 3-10 of your Lab Manual). (10 marks) For skinfold measurements, the duplicate measurements should not vary by more than 10%. For bone diameter measurements, the duplicate measurements should not vary by more than 0.1 centimeter. For muscle girth measurements, the duplicate measurements should not vary by more than 0.5 centimeter. NOTE: Please make a duplicate copy of your completed (it contains all of your measurement data) Comprehensive Anthropometric Data Form and retain it to use for additional calculations in Lab #3. Do not submit the duplicate copy of the data form with this lab report. Submit only the original copy of the Comprehensive Anthropometric Data Form with this lab report. 2) Determine your percent body fat using the Omron Fat Loss Monitor, Model HBF-306 which is a bioelectrical impedance method.
