1 LAB #3 (Week 3): Arthrology, Flexibility, & Body Composition PROCEDURES: 1) Perform procedures #1-5 on pages 7-19 and 7-20 in the Kinesiology 142 Laboratory Manual. 2) Perform the Sit-Reach Test as described on page 8-3 and fill in the attached table, Table 8-1. (2 marks) 3) Perform joint range of motion measurements using a goniometer, as described on pages 8-6 to 8-16 in the Kinesiology 142 Laboratory Manual. Fill in the attached table, Table 8-7. Compare your subject’s ROM values to the mean AMA values shown in Tables 8-3 to 8-6. (5 marks) 4) Criticize the goniometer measurements that you performed. (2 marks) 5) Canadian Physical Activity, Fitness and Lifestyle Approach – Health Body Composition Assessment. Using your data on the Comprehensive Anthropometric Data Form from Lab #2, follow the procedures described on page 6-1 in the Kinesiology 142 Laboratory Manual and complete the attached table. (8 marks) 6) O-Scale System – refer to Lab #5 in “Laboratory Experiments in Human Structure and Function”.
