PAM 2100 Exam #2 Preview Exam #2 is Thursday, November 5 from 7:30-10:00 pm. If you are officially enrolled in lecture 1 (10:10-11:00), go to Malott Hall 251 or Malott 253 (we can use both rooms). If you are officially enrolled in lecture 2 (11:15-12:05), go to Malott Hall 228- Bache Auditorium. Bring a calculator. You cannot program your calculator. Make sure your calculator is in floating decimal mode (not programmed to express every number only to two decimal places for instance). Bring back-up batteries for your calculator. You are not allowed to use your cell phone.

The exam will cover all the material we covered from the following handouts: 3.3, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, 5.1, and stock_watson_ch2_3. What will I not ask on the exam? You won’t have to do the derivations we did on pages 5-6 of the 5.1 handout (you do need to know the formulas, however). I won’t ask any questions about Stata on the exam. Look over the old exam solutions to get a sense of the distribution of the questions from the various sections we covered. Most of the questions come from 4.4, 4.5, and 5.1....
