2 Reaction Mechanisms 7. Elementary Reactions 8. The Rate Law and the Mechanisms 9. Catalysis The rate law tells us the relationship of rate to concentration of reactants and catalysts. In order to find concentrations at various times, we need to use the integrated rate law. The form depends on the order of reaction in that reactant. These are given in Table 14.2.
