Jason Frankel Marketing Homework October 28, 2009 1. Burger King’s communication objectives revolve around focusing on the needs of the customer. Returning to the “Have it Your Way” slogan gives Burger King a narrow, but focused, marketing strategy that will differentiate them from competition. Additionally, they want to start communicating with young males through word of mouth and different forms of marketing outside of commercials. Their new cups, bags, and online websites that focus on the many different ways to customize a burger give the customers a sense of power. Their target audience, young males, will connect with these new marketing methods. Young males enjoy that sense of power, and it psychologically affects the men. When I walk into a BK, I think I can get whatever I want made in any way, and that makes me feel more welcome and wanting to come back. 2. With Burger King focusing on the “super fan,” they do not risk losing customers with any considerable lifetime value. Their new line of marketing is designed around
