RESEARCH PLAN AND INTRODUCTION
Research Plan
During the 1940’s Pearl Harbor had occurred causing United States and Japan to go to
war. Due to the Pearl Harbor being so catastrophic it caused World War II to start. During World
War II the United States went to war with Japan, Germany, and Italy. The reason for the United
States being at war with Japan, Germany, and Italy is because of the Tripartite Pact. The
Tripartite Pact made Japan, Germany, and Italy allies, this pact was made to intimidate the
United States. The alliance wanted the United States to think twice before starting any wars with
them. During all this Japan was the most aggressive which is why the United States decided to
bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Shortly after the bombing the war ended.
The primary sources relate to the secondary sources because they show the same
evidence. The primary source supports the secondary source by showing how the government
