Computer Lab - Glycogenolysis (10 points) KEY 1. Draw all of the steps of glycogen breakdown in the liver. ' Include all details (such as arrows, enzymes, pi, ATp, ADp, AMp, NAD/NADH, FAD/FADH, CO2, H2O, etc.). . Highlight all enzymes in yellow. . Highlight all electron acceptors in pink. . Highlight all electron donors in blue. Do not include the covalent modification of enzvmes. Glycogen (n residues) .__ pi Glycogen phos:phorylase t --+ glycogen (n-1 residues) Glucose 1P Phosphoglucomutase 0 Glucose 6P 2. The fate of glucose 6P differs in the muscle and liver. Brieflv exptain the difference. Muscle: Glucose-6 phosphatase (which dephosphorylates gtuc 6p to glucose) is not available in the muscle. Gluc 6P cannot exit the muscle cell and its only fate is to enter glycolysis.
