Johnny Got His Gun 2 It is unfortunate what the government does behind closed doors. This film “Johnny Got His Gun” is an example of what the government is capable of. It is scary to think about what else they are hiding from the people. Experiments that are conducted in secret just for them to get answers on things that they want to either expose to the people or not. I wonder if this is an ongoing thing that still happens now or only back in World War 1. In the intro of the movie, it starts with the main character Joe being found and transported to a military hospital. In the beginning, you see military doctors stating his condition on how bad his critical injuries are. They are admired by how he is still alive. The 3 military doctors also mention how common it was for soldiers to have common injuries and how they all will roll into a ball to protect their private area. Sadly in Joe’s case, he would just end up being an experiment considering his injuries were so tragic. Soon after we discover Joe and I figured out that he was the injured soldier. He is seen with his girlfriend Karin who she is begging Joe to not leave and she is scared for him. His excuse is he has to go to war to protect his country and that his other two friends already has gone to war. He states that regardless he would be drafted. This is the mentality of a person who hasn’t been to war or the front line. I don’t think Joe knew exactly what he was signing up for. Soon after he is at the railroad
