(1 point) At what time do LON-CAPA quizzes close on the posted due date? Quizzes must be completed by Noon of the specified date. 2. (1 point) At what time are LON-CAPA homework assignments due on the posted due date? Homework must be completed by 8:00 AM of the specified date. 3. (2 points) What is the proper procedure for handling lab absences? Students should report all lab absences in person or by email to Renee Alt within 48 hours (1 point). They should also complete the “Absence Report Form” and provide appropriate documentation to Renee Alt (1 point). 4. (3 points) What is the function of the immersion oil that is used with the 100X objective and why is it used only with this lens? The diameter of the 100X objective is so small that without oil much of the light would be deflected away from the lens (1 point). Since immersion oil has a refractive index that is similar to glass it captures the light and directs it into the objective (1 point).
