HIS/HUM381 REFLECTION 2 Week One Reflection This week I realized that I didn’t know much about global political and economic issues. However, I did have some background knowledge on a lot of the global issues that dealt with the environment, due to my major. I am a huge advocate for positive environmental change and am very passionate about the subject of global warming/climate change. There are many opposing views on the subject due to critics; although, scientists have presented hard facts on how the Earth is changing rapidly for the worse. I did more research on the subject and found that scientists are looking to phase out fossil fuels and they can do that by using low-carbon energy

Mitigation, geoengineering and adaption are all options that we can use to address climate change. We really need to reduce the amount of greenhouse gases we use, but at the rate we’re going, our great grandchildren won’t even know what planet Earth even is.
