Katie Davidson LT Fletcher Government 28 January 2010 State of the Union President Obama touched on some key issues for the United States. His major theme for the night was progress and moving America into a better future and it was mentioned in the post- State of the Union broadcasting that it was a very good pre-election speech. Obama has lost a lot of the support he held initially, and he has barely been in office a year. Some major issues touched on were the president’s dedication to the repeal of the “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” policy.
