Engineering 10 CEE Module B Yang Xia Individual Assignment #3 20851683 For the data from Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday lab sections, we name the pipes to be Pipe #1, Pipe #2 and Pipe #3, respectively. From the given data, we find the cross section area of the pipes (A), the flow rates in m^3/s, the speeds of water in the pipes (v), the head losses ( Δ h). In addition, we find log ( Δ h) and log (v) in order to find the relationship between Δ h and v, using the given formula Δ h = B * v^x. The data for each pipe are shown in the following tables. Pipe #1 D=9.5mm A=7.09E-05 m^2 Flow rate (m^3/s) Speed of water v(m/s) log(v) Head loss (Δh) log (Δh) 8.07253E-05 1.136976526 0.055751498 0.526 -0.279014256 2.20733E-05 0.310892019 -0.507390427 0.141 -0.850780887 0.00010406 1.465633803 0.166025473 0.699 -0.155522824 0.00005676 0.79943662 -0.097215962 0.358 -0.446116973 8.82933E-05 1.243568075 0.094669564 0.576 -0.239577517 8.07253E-05 1.136976526 0.055751498 0.526 -0.279014256 Pipe #2 D=15.3mm
