BIOE 415 Lab Report 4 Monday Section – Andrew J. Wu  Introduction This lab utilizes the circuit built from last week with an additional filter and amplifier to augment  the ECG. The ECG measures Lead I from the right arm to the left arm, using the right leg as the  ground. The ECG circuit will be tested with an ECG stimulator and Human test subject. Methods The procedure was followed using the actual procedure.  Here is the Circuit that we used for  this experiment.

This Circuit above was modified from the first circuit. This shows the biopotential amplifier with  an active filter. RESULTS 3.2.1 – We grounded the 1 st  and 3 rd  electrodes and sent a sinusoidal pulse through electrode 2  at 250 mV to find the gain. The gain was 10.94 V. (Waveform depicted below) Since Gain is calculated by taking the quotient of the output voltage and the input voltage, the  gain of our circuit was 83.47 V/V.

The Bandwidth is calculated by  And it was 74.9 V/V. 3.2.2 – The measured gain was 29.83 VV and the low and high cutoff frequencies were 1.3 Hz  and 170 Hz respectively. (Same calculations as previous)
