Define the following terms as they relate to igneous rocks: a. texture: the arrangement and size of the grains, the presence/absence of glas and holes in a rock; gives information about how the rock formed; mineral content and texture classify igneous rocks b. felsic: one of two igneous rock groups; also referred to as “light-colored”; stands for feldspar and indicates high silica c. mafic: one of two igneous rock groups; also referred to as “dark-colored”; high in magnesium and iron, which is the cause of the dark color
