Others by appointment. Required Text: Kimmel, Weygandt, Kieso – Financial Accounting – Tools for Business Decision Making , 5th Edition, Publisher: Wiley. ISBN 9780470437278. Exams/Grading Policy: Exams will range from 100-200 points each. Exams may consist of multiple choice questions, short answer questions, essays, short problems or case studies. There will be NO MAKE UP EXAMS given for any reason. There will be four exams administered during the semester, and a cumulative final. You may drop your lowest mid-term score. You may not drop the final exam score. The final exam will be administered according to the time and day printed in the schedule of classes. Under NO circumstances will you be allowed to take the final at any other time (early or late). Plan your vacation accordingly. Your grade will be determined on the basis of the number of cumulative points scored on exams, projects, and class participation. The points will be weighted as follows: Midterm Exams 300 points (3 exams of 100 points each) Final Exam 150 points (Cumulative) At the instructors’ discretion a project may be assigned in addition to or in place of one or more exams listed here, if this is an additional assignment the point scale will be adjusted accordingly.
