World History Essay Rome empire decline and Byzantine empire decline The Rome empire decline and the Byzantine empire decline, both decline of empire has couple of distinctions and similarities. As similalrity, The Rome empire and the Byzantine empire fell cause of attacked frome other natioins. In the Rome empire, frome A.D. 192 to A.D. 284, during the time of political disorder, Rome's armies were busier fighting each other than they defending the empire's borders. So, Germanic tribes such as the Goths , the Alemanni, the ranks, and the Sazons repeatedly and successfully attacked Rome empire. And, in Byzantine empire, after Justinian died in A.D. 565, the Germanic Lombards conquered most of Italy, the Avars took the norther frintier and Slavic peopled moves into the Balkans, and Persians resumed the attacks in the east.

Unformatted text preview: Finally, Byzantine's territories was reduces. As distinction, Byzantine empire was fell by fall of Constantinople(capital). The Ottoman Turks attacked the eastern provinces. Also, before this happen, the Seljuk Turks came from central Asia. They converted to Islam. So Rome's own religion disappeared. But, Rome empire was fell by bad emperor. His name is Nero. He spent so much state money on his own pleasures that he bankrupted the treasury. Also, in econimic decline, Warfares disrupted production and trade. For merchants and artisans, profit decreased and forcing many out of business. And farmland was destroyed by warfares, causing food shotages that sent food prices soaring....
