Chemistry 3000 Cornell University Fall 2009 … the janitor who cleans the second foor was cut by glass when emptying the trash in 201A at 7 this morning. Apparently someone put broken glass in with cardboard in the paper trash, rather than into the glass waste, which is right beside it. The only chemicals in the room I could think she would need to worry about in terms oF contamination were the ICl in acetic acid and she would have Felt the burn immediately (which she didn't). Can you think oF anything else she would need to worry about? Also, you might want to remind your students oF why this is such a bad idea. RULES:
