Where’s my menu? • One thing I run into often is that I can’t find the menu I am looking for. – What mode am I in – sketch or feature? – If you can’t see a way to get out – use the action image in the upper-right corner of the graphics screen. – Those action images may be the only way to get out of the 3D Sketch mode. – If you need to edit a sketch, do a right-click > edit sketch in the feature tree. Recall that you can modify the dependent features in a part by modifying sketches or features in the tree.

Sketch, Sketch, Sketch • You need to learn to do everything possible in a sketch. • Identify what you know and put that in first (even if the drawing is not continuous) • Then use the relationships, constraints, tangencies, radii, etc., to put the rest of everything in the constraint.
