2/15/10 What part of the at-risk population with this This to me is a hard question to ask. No one wants to turn away a student that is in need of help. However, not every program is for every student. The program here will be assessing some of the worse cases of the at-risk students. The students here are students that are being abused or students who are on possibly on drugs or have been on drugs.

2/15/10 How will we know which students to choose for the Many of the students will be coming into the program with the choice of the program or severe consequences from either the school or the law. Students in the program will not be harmful of themselves or other students. The majority of the students are students of low income homes or homes of single parents.

2/15/10 How to keep the program safe. Since many of the students will be coming into the program with a history of drug use the program will provide mandatory drug screenings for the safety of both the program and the students.

2/15/10 How will students be identified for the program. This program will choose the students by the severity of the issue. Students will be chosen who we feel will be able to put forth the best effort and who really want help. Students who are on their last resort and who really want to make a change in their lives for the better will be chosen in order to give the students a second chance to make a difference in their lives.
