I live in Southern Mississippi and there are tons of plants and animals here. We have a lot of forest and woody land here so there are free roaming deer, foxes, rabbits and squirrels everywhere. Not to mention the numerous cattle farms that are here. The South is home to many insects and because we live near numerous bodies of water it’s always full of bugs. The lakes, creeks, ponds and the rivers serve as homes to the fish, turtles and other water dwelling animals. The South also is abundant to all sorts of plant life. There are large mixtures of vegetables that are grown by local farms.

Many of the farms and ranches here count on their crops and their animals to bring in money in order for their families to survive. The ecosystem is something that plays a huge role in this. It is sad to think that we live in a time where so many people have so many disregards for the environment. I believe that there need to be stricter laws and punishments for people who are in violation of the environment. This is the only earth we have and I know I want to keep it clean and healthy....
