 2/13/10 Paul Jackson Pollock was born on January 28,  1912 in Cody, Wyoming. He was the fifth and youngest son of LeRoy  McCoy Pollock and Stella McClure Pollock. His father was a surveyor and worked on road  crews along the Grand Canyon. Pollock would sometimes tag along to go work  with his father.  Background Information
