James What did he say? If you don’t have evidence it is hard to convince the dangers of global warming that he delivered. Just a quote from him will work. A little awkward to read. Perhaps change the first significant to “important” Not needed This is a very good quote, perhaps you should add your opinion about how you think of it. Radioactive??? This is an excellent explanation. It shows how his works related to climate change. Why is this important? How does it add to his works on simulation of the Earth’s climate? It is better to explain why it’s great otherwise it’s seem like an opinion not analysis. What did he do exactly and why is it important to environmental issue?

Hansen is probably best known for his illumination of for the dangers of global warming in testimony to Congress in 1988. This testimony brought the threat of climate change to the world’s attention, and put in motion the idea that we need to significantly change how we pollute the atmosphere. As early as 1981, Hansen stated that carbon dioxide in the Earth’s atmosphere would lead to global warming sooner than predicted, with the possibility of record high temperatures as early as 1990. Furthermore, he predicted it would be extremely difficult to persuade politicians and the public to react (2). As we can tell from the way climate talks have been going recently, his latter prediction appears to have been accurate.
