Explain the method or methods professionals could use to determine whether a young child has reached appropriate cognitive milestones linked to cognitive theories in early childhood. For example, how could a young child demonstrate object permanence, conservation, or scaffolding? An important time in the life of a child in which his or her development is at a critical stage is early childhood. During early childhood, children go through both physical change and growth, as well and mental change and growth.
