They are produced however not only to be aesthetically pleasing but as a form of rhetoric, to persuade the audience to act. Advertisements want people to buy their product, go to their event, or use their service. The advertisement chosen for this paper does just that. The Saxsofunny Sound Design Production Company employs many of the design principles in their “Every image has sound” advertisement series. Audience/ Appearance The advertisement is intriguing to a curious audience as the white space around the simplified typewriter draws the attention of passers by and upon further investigation one is to discover the clear bubble wrap encompassing the page which supports the text “every image has sound”. Which leads one to question why the ad is dispensing this information, the answer to such question is found directly underneath the text: Saxsofunny Sound Production Company.
