Unformatted text preview: Amy Callaway 9/5/2006 Barbara Haas Friday Nights Yet another Friday night at the Teen Center, everyone loaded on sugar and soda, all bright-eyed anticipating the nights events. Tybee Islands Teen Center was beginning to be a popular place for the citys youth to have fun while staying out of trouble (for the most part). Plopping down on the couch I could feel just how old the furniture was, soft and rough; worn in. The air was thick like a blanket and the humidity was almost unbearable. All six of the fans were on and the light from them flickered as the blades passed through them. The lights were dimmed as Silent Hill was slid into the DVD player and everything fell silent.
