DB Modelling Question: Business Description The School of Accounting & Computer Science at Charles Sturt University (CSU) offers a Bachelor of Computer Science (Games Technology). A key aspect of this course is the industrial placement component which students undertake during the final year. Maintaining records on events, industry contacts, student placements and employment has necessitated the creation of an "Industry Placement and Employment Database" (IPED). Requirements The following information needs to be captured: Student enrolment information is maintained within the University's Banner database system and therefore will not be duplicated within IPED. The system must however, allow for the storage of a student’s number, first and last name and a comment. During the course of their studies, students may undertake a number of placements. These placements may be with the same company. It is not mandatory for students to undertake a placement. When a student is allocated an industry placement with a particular company, the commencement and finish date are recorded. The system also needs to allow for the recording of a comment regarding the student's placement. Similarly, students may also receive employment with one or more companies. A student
