S.O.W. - UNIVERSITY WORK Airframe Fatigue PROJECT TITLE : Fatigue Analysis Integrated System (FAIS) development and validation OBJECTIVE : To Enhance FAIS with new templates and perform formal validation of existing templates. DESCRIPTION: The student will be asked to be familiar with classical fatigue analysis methodology used at Bell Helicopter and perform typical analysis. Based on learned experiences, the student will implement Excel spreadsheets to optimize current fatigue analysis techniques. Evaluate and optimize classical fatigue analysis. Develop new templates in various fields of analysis. Perform typical fatigue analysis using the developed tools. Validate existing templates. Validate fatigue analysis methodology. Define or validate the range of application of existing or new templates. DELIVERABLES
