S.O.W. - Montreal Aerospace Institute (MAI) UNIVERSITY PROJECT B PROJECT TITLE : Model development for aircraft systems sizing and evaluation in the conceptual design phase – electrical power systems OBJECTIVE : Participate to data analysis and model development. DESCRIPTION: Bombardier Aerospace is expending efforts to establish simulation tools for the conceptual design phase allowing the evaluation and estimation of key parameters (weight, power consumption, cost, reliability, space envelope, …) of aircraft system architectures (including electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems) very early in the design process of future aircraft. The student will be expected to establish physics based estimation methods for the electrical power system, based on data analysis of existing aircraft, and to implement
