Sushanth Boda 9/23/09 English 124-013 Pre-Write Freewrite on Parents Views on Girls My parents hate the topic of girls. To them studying always comes first should always be that way in their mindset. To them the only thing that’s important is the career. I mean yeah for sure I agree that without a solid career, your life is going to be in a rocky shape but come on now. That doesn’t mean you can’t have girlfriends. Its not like your going to spend so much time with them that its going to affect your studies. They are form the Indian culture where poverty is big in that country. So from the previous generations the idea that getting a good job has been beaten down so hard that it’s the number one rule now. Many parents think that having a girlfriend is just going to distract kids from being successful. Also in India marriage is also a key issue in the discussion. From the past marriage was a business deal between the two families, so the bride and groom never got to express their own opinion. Nowadays its not a business deal anymore

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
