Sushanth Boda 9/15/09 English 125-013 D’Anne Witkowski My Identity Paragraphs Parents – Without my parents, I would be nothing like how I am today. My parents were really strict because that’s how the culture was back in India. Even though they were always on back about school, now that I look back upon it, I am glad that they did that. When you’re a kid you find it annoying and frustrating, but now your thankful because they put you in the right track for you to succeed in life. As I started to grow up though, they started to understand my viewpoints as well. Don’t get me wrong, they were still pretty strict when it came to school and friends, but they gave me room for myself. This allowed me to find out for myself who I really am as a person and mature. Music – I don’t think I can go a day without listening to music. I listen to music all the time from doing homework, to working out, to driving. It allows me to just escape from reality and relax.
