Excellent Good Okay Needs Work How well does the introduction catch your attention? Excellent Good Okay Needs Work How well does the introduction introduce the topic? Excellent Good Okay Needs Work What is the Author’s thesis ? This is due to the distrust of atheists in America. Despite being viewed as immoral and the least trusted group in the United States, atheists can still have morals that align with American Society. Does thesis need to be narrowed to make it more specific or interesting? If so, offer a suggestion. I think that your thesis still might be a little too vague. In the introduction you need to talk about what these morals are that atheists have. You don’t have to go into detail but just mention them because all the audience understands from your intro is that atheists are not trusted. The same concept goes with immoral. Also you need to define what the American Society views are moral and can have trust in to prove that in fact Atheists do have fit all the criteria. What is the first piece of evidence is presented? How well does this evidence support the thesis? (repeat for each piece of evidence. Use additional paper if necessary) 1. Atheism in history and how it was considered immoral. 2. Survey done by University of Minnesota
