Exams and quizzes Questions?  Please see me or email  me. Exam grade normalized to 100 so you  have an idea of where you stand. For quiz #4, I still have 2 students who  need to complete this. For quiz grade totals, (obviously) divide  your total by 40.

Lab this week Remember that lab attendance is  required. Remember that sandals, shorts, food  and beverages are not allowed in lab. You need your own (disposable) gloves. We are starting muscles, and starting  the use of the preserved cats.

Lab this week Chapter 8.  pages 137-150 We will have scopes set up as refreshers. We have sets of dissection instruments but  a quick inventory of each is needed to  insure that you have what you need We are ordering more scalpel blades.

Rules of the road Read the guidance in the manual. Go slow, and think twice before you cut. Don’t rush through these dissections. Work at each bench as a team, plz  respect others’ learning styles. Leave one side untouched (i.e., thorax)  in case that you need to use it.

Put everything away and clean up  everything before you leave the lab at  the end of the lab period. Insure that your cat is labeled with the  group’s name.

I need to hear from you  within 24  hours  is you are not in lecture for a quiz  or at lab.  If no word, then a zero on the  quiz etc. If you leave lab or lecture abruptly you  need to explain what happened w/in 24  hours. I need statements from medical
