Fuel Used During Excerise Nutrition intensity high intensity: use a lot of glucose in 2 or 3 minutes low intensity: use fatty acids traning duration 0 sec-10secs use creatine PO4 lacate systems is increasing (glucose is being used) 3 or more minutes the arobic system gets activated (fatty acids/glucose) Prolonged Moderate Exercise glucose decreases as the excerise time increases and the body starts to use Fatty Acids Prolonged Low Intensity Excerise a small constant amount of glucose is used and more Fatty Acids is used Nutrition Diets 55% Carbohydrates and 20% protein-lasted much longer in a high carohydrates diet-- >endurance excerise decreasing excerising and increasing carbohydrate for about a week max glucose storage and that will allow you to last longer during long endurance excerises for an event and perform better Training a well trained person forces the body to use more fatty acids and less on glucose and this enables your body to perform longer g protein/kg body weight
