1) Draw block scheme of the refinery configurations according to the example in the lecture 1.0 Introduction. 2) Weith the Kirkuk crude asssay( from CDU revamp) calculate the SR fractions 3) Calculate the capacities of different process units by adding all streams from the distillation and conversion units 4) Calculate the costs of the required process units by scaling of the cost estimates provided and use a capacity scaling factor 0.6. 5) For oil movements and other outside plot facilities take 35% of the sum of all process units 6) Estimate of the amounts of the products LPG, Gasoline, Kero and Diesel produced.
