What is the largest common sub-expression that can be extracted from x and y ? (b) (10pts) Perform the Expand operation on F ( a,b,c ) = (0 , 1 , 2 , 5 , 6 , 7) to get a cover C using the following rule: expand the minterms in the order as they appear in F , and visit the variables in the order [ c,a,b ]. Give the answer in an equation form, e.g., C = ab + c .
