Objectives
To learn how to plot functions in MATLAB and to compute values to compare to Virtual Lab
results.
Required Output
For each problem you should print and submit both your .m file and the Figure window.

Consider the following circuit, with vs(t) = 12u(t) V and

Assume for this problem that

What is the initial energy stored in the capacitor?
(b)
Plot the voltage

across the capacitor from

= 0 until 10 time constants have
passed.
(c)
Plot the current

through the capacitor for the same time interval.
(d)
Plot the power delivered by the capacitor for the same time interval.
(e)
Show that the total energy delivered by the capacitor is equal to the initial energy
stored.
For part (e), recall that an integral is the sum over an infinite number of infinitesimal terms.
We don’t have this situation exactly, but it is close enough if the time step used is
sufficiently small.
