IAH 204: Asia and the World Professor Keith Fall 2008: Asia and the World in the Age of Empire Unit Two Paper Topics This is the second of four writing assignments for the course. You are required to complete three of the four. The second writing assignment is due Tuesday, October 7, in class, in hard copy. Electronic versions of papers or late papers will not be accepted under any circumstances. For the second writing assignment, write a 4-5 page paper, double-spaced, 12 point font, one-inch margins, that answers one of the following questions: 1. Why did different people interpret the events at Chauri Chaura differently? What about people – race, class, gender or other factors – caused them to have different views of the events?
