Experiment V2 Determination of Transformer Equivalent Circuit Parameters Using the Open Circuit and Short Circuit Tests Objective To determine the equivalent circuit parameters of a single phase transformer using the open circuit and short circuit tests. Summary The LabVolt transformer module is shown in Fig 1. Fig. 1 LabVolt transformer module Transformer Specifications In performing this experiment we will use terminals 1-2 (Primary winding) and terminal 8-4 (Secondary winding). Frequency rating 60 Hz Primary voltage rating 208 volts Secondary voltage rating 120 volts
