Building Construction Regulations Building construction standards are the result of both federal and state regulations. I To ensure safe dwellings and workplaces FHA-insured and VA-guaranteed loans require that property meet minimum property requirements (MPRs) . I Sets minimum construction and occupancy requirements for dwellings, including apartment houses and hotels I Corrective works need if fails to meet MPRs.
